As good as any other Premier Inn. Good clean rooms, great beds, & good bathroom/shower.
However, the staff were exceptional. Absolutely top notch. Definitely above & beyond. Visiting for a close family members funeral, with a disabled mother & they couldn't have been more helpful.

This once exceptional product is now suffering from the British disease of rising prices and falling standards. Food in the steam Packet has taken a backwards step in recent months. However, the staff remain very helpful, attentive and hardworking. ( Update Nov 2024). Other hotels in the area are offering an overall better experience in this price bracket. Shop around.
However, it remains a great location for visiting family in the north of Liverpool. An ample free car park is next to the hotel. There is a covered walkway from the hotel to the adjacent Beefeater where breakfast and evening meals are available. However, WIFI coverage remains patchy and unreliable which was not helped by the fact mobile reception on EE was awful. If you need a good WIFI connection you need to sit in the bar or find another hotel.
The room was perfect and as always spotlessly clean and very comfortable although tired.
Staff could not have been more helpful or cheerful.

Comfortable, clean and quiet rooms. Breakfast in Beef house let you eat as much you can. Good service food and location.

I walked into the reception area and could smell sewage. Walked down the passage way to my room and could smell dampness. Got to my room and tried to connect to Internet to do some email, couldn't hotspot due to poor signal and the WiFi doesn't work. THIS IS POSSIBLY THE WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER STAYED IN!!!

Came back to room to find a burst pipe above, water flooding out of fixtures and damaging a high value MacBook.
Staff were quick to change room however Premier Inn and their insurers refusing to replace damaged goods.
Insurance replied with- “In this case, while there is no dispute that a pipe burst, resulting in water damage to the room in which you were staying, there is no evidence to suggest that the burst was caused by any negligence or breach of duty on the part of Whitbread. There had been no recent work carried out on the pipe that could have resulted in this accident and nothing to suggest that the plumbing had not been properly maintained.
Bearing the above in mind, we are unable to consider any offer of compensation”

Been staying here on and off for work.
The hotel is much like most other PI’s however the staff on reception have been notably very nice and always helpful.
The attached beefeater also offers good service.

stayed earlier in the year, lovely premier inn! room was nice and clean and the staff were so lovely, got a bit confused finding the entrance but got there in the end :)

Functional premier inn with a beefeater attached. The hotel may have a had an issue with drainage as there was a smell in parts of the hotel. Our room was fine but mould in shower was not acceptable. No aircon but fans provided. Not the best premier inn we have stayed in. Not sure there is anything around the location but it was used as a base to visit Liverpool.

Bed bugs... I came away bitten to bits as did my wife. I certainly will never stay there again. It just isn't worth the risk.

Nice hotel. Great staff. Rooms are good room47 is huge. Just no power sockets by the bed.
Only let down is customers who block disabled bays. Not the hotels fault

So we booked 3 nights we arrived on the sunday greeted by friendly staff hastle free check in got into the room all looked okay
We had a issue with the toilet and they repaired it in a fast time very proffesional response to a issue
Now here is the bad part we stripped the bedding to help the cleaners but to our horror found black mould on one of the pillows that our child had slept on very very bad and annoyed to be fair
And the condition of our matress was disgusting
The pictures are what we took when we left the room we always take photos to ensure there is no dispute on condition damage etc
But yeah disgusting
